7th September 2013

12 noon - 8pm on The Green

In the community

CroxFest is pleased to announce that the second CroxFest local music festival (8th September, 2012) will again support local organisations.

The first is the refurbishment of the All Saints' Community Hall kitchens and the others are the Parish Council Chairman's Charities.

Each year, the incoming Chair of the Council can nominate charities that they support and details will be available after the forthcoming election for Chairman.

The event benefits from crucial financial support from the Parish Council and the CroxFest organising committee are pleased to reciprocate by supporting the PC 'Chairman's Charities' for 2012.

CroxFest is one of Croxley's major annual events - a local music festival held on The Green. 2011 saw the first festival - a fantastic success with a wide range of great music enjoyed by about 4000 people over the whole amazing day.

All Saints' Hall Improvement

"We are excited and honoured to have been chosen as one of the supported causes of this year’s Croxfest.

All Saints’ Hall is used and loved by a wide cross-section of the community in Croxley Green – everyone from babies at Croxley Green Children's Centre to NHS balance and exercise classes for elderly people in danger of falling.

The Kitchen is used by many of these weekly groups and by people hiring the Hall for parties and other events. But it hasn’t been updated for over 40 years. We all struggle in a small space with old equipment.

But this summer all that will change. We will be making the kitchen twice as large and installing new equipment."
